Click age to reveal guidance for your little one's stage
At the newborn stage, your baby will be exclusively breast or bottle fed and a feeding chair is not necessary until they start solids, typically around 6 months.
Around 6 months old, when baby is showing signs of being developmentally ready - aka they can sit up unsupported, they show interest in food, etc. - they’ll be ready to use a feeding chair. Select a high chair that offers adjustable height and footrest settings for proper positioning. You may also use a floor seat with tray to introduce solids.
Introducing solids is messy! A removable tray and washable straps are a must at this stage.

When choosing a feeding chair for a toddler, consider a booster seat, hook on chair, or adjustable height high chair that allows your child to sit at the table with the family.
